Walk a thon JOY!

Wasn't it a JOY to come together with ALL of the elementary and middle school kids and celebrate our supportive community? It was just heartwarming to see our little ones cared for by our 'big' ones! Go Maroons!!!

Data Meeting

Almost everyone has completed those NWEA MAP tests! 🙌  I am always hesitant to plop you into a data meeting time with your grade level counterparts because, let's face it, schedules this year are bananas! Would you please kick a convenient time for you and your grade level teammates to meet and talk about our learners? I'll invite the rest of the team and let's get some interventions started for our kids!

Collaboration Days

They're coming:

Continuing Education

Just a reminder for you, if you are interested in receiving some financial support for coursework you are pursuing, please complete this form. The deadline has passed but this year is all about grace periods. The grace period is OPEN!

Hispanic Heritage Celebration: You're Invited!

A Hispanic Heritage month experience with taste testing, crafts and of course some music and dance. This will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd from 9:15-10am in The Well. We are working hard to make sure we have enough for everyone to enjoy and so we are asking you to RSVP with your class count by Friday, Sept. 17 at 5pm. This will give us time to prepare and make sure everything is ready. When you respond with your class count include yourself ðŸ˜‰

Woods

I don't think we're ready to close the woods, but play in the trees is not going swimmingly for us. Even with the best lessons taught and retaught, we are having hurt feelings, boudaries pushed and even some injuries. I'm wondering about sharing the woods differently? Perhaps a little something like this:

Monday: kinders

Tuesdays: firsties

Wednesday: second graders

Thursday: third graders

Friday: fourth and fifth graders

I'll try to zip around the building and get a feel for a response on this proposal! Feel free to talk amongst yourselves!
