Celebrations!

Wasn't Wednesday morning SUCH an amazing learning experience for both the little people and the big people at Rose Park! Thank you to all of the special teachers, assistants, parents and volunteers who brought this celebratory learning to us! That was a LOT of work. How beautiful to see children taking on the role of teacher and proudly sharing their love and appreciation for God's children throughout the Kingdom! This kind of experiential learning and this kind of celebration certainly makes Rose Park a transformational place for children to grow and learn! 

Sealed Food

Abi Rodriguez was noticing that we have a LOT of sealed food that gets thrown away by our munchkins every day. You've likely noted this as well. We have been trying to encourage the kids to take home anything that they cannot eat but that doesn't seem to have helped a great deal. Abi spoke with Trenton and Jessica Herald, who serve as the pastor of City Hill Church. They would be HAPPY to take sealed food and offering to hungry children in our community. Thank you to Abi for making this connection! SO! Starting on Monday, would you please encourage your students to place any sealed, non-perishable food into the donation basket near the tray receptacle in the hallway? Every Friday Trenton will pick up our food and bring it to church! Thank you, friends! 

Conferences 

Parent/teacher conferences are coming up! We will offer them in person unless any parent would prefer an online conference. Mark your calendars now for October 18 and 19. We'll get those logistics figured out soon. 

CEA

All teaching faculty have the opportunity to attend CEA convention in person this year! The convention will be held at Grand Rapids Christian on Thursday and Friday, October 21 and 22! I can't wait to grow with you during these learning days!
