Beauty in Rhythm

We're starting to find a beautiful rhythm, friends! It was a bit of a bumpy start with the mask mandate being imposed so last minute before the year launched, but we're finding our rhythm and this is a beautiful thing! We've been entrusted with loving our children, developing their skills and helping them understand the grace given and love overflowing of our Good, Good Father! THAT is what you are faithfully providing every day! Thank you for this faithful work, friends!

Buddies are BACK!

iObservation Lunch and Learn

Doug would like to meet with all teaching faculty on September 14 to familiarize you with iObservation. This may not be the last time we utilize a Lunch and Learn format. Please hold your lunch hour between 11:30-12:30 for this learning. You please bring your computer and fresh sense of adventure. Doug and I will bring the program instructions. Our wonderful kitchen staff will provide our yummies!

Preschool Teacher Teaming Discussion

Thank you for your willingness to take another lunch to do some learning together. Our preschool team is growing and we are so grateful for that! As we do with our other growing programs/teams, let's talk together to create confidence and norms as there are SO many decisions and communications to navigate! See you over lunch on the 23rd in the conference room.

Beanie Babies

If you have Beanie Babies that are hanging around enjoying retirement, Julie can employ them in PE! She's working to get some hopscotch lines painted on the playground and Beanie Babies can be used to toss onto the court for the kids! If you have one old fella or a little fleet, Julie will gratefully accept them on behalf of the kids! Thank you!

Data Meetings

We're going to hold data meetings to talk about each of our students. To ensure students do not "fall through the cracks" we will talk about the progress each child is making. We'll take a look at each child's running record as well as their MAP data. Emily and Angie, is it possible to input the running record score for each child on these data sheets, please? Once these scores are in, let's arrange a time to talk about progress and interventions to help our budding skills.
