Our Maker. The Maker of Heaven and Earth.
Feel like learning a little about the Ron Clark Academy from your living room (pretty much where we're all learning and doing everything)? Take a peek at the free PD they are offering. Tune in on Facebook Live at 1:00 on Friday. I'll be Zooming with new family appointments throughout the afternoon so I won't be able to attend. Ron Clark doesn't often disappoint and has a few tips for teaching during these days in quarantine. Here is the info if you're curious!
Speaking of professional learning, Jana Stejskal is reading and willing to help you brainstorm and meet these new challenges as your literacy coach. Don't hesitate to reach out to her with questions, ideas or wonderings!
A few updates from the whole district perspective:
Batons
are going to be considered optional this year. If your hands are too full or you don't have supplies at home, you may decide to pass them on to next year's teachers with no added message from you this year. If you do opt to add a message from you, please feel free. They are being officially deemed "optional".
Faith Statements
this is a good time to ask children to articulate their faith in our good, good Father. Even in times of trial. Perhaps especially during these times. Please ask your child to write a faith statement (prompts can vary) and we'll worry about collecting these statements most likely at the time students are allowed back into Rose Park/Forest School to collect their goods.
