What an amazing job you've done AGAIN this week! You're staying connected to your students, continuing their learning and adapting to yet ANOTHER norm! How is it going? Math/Bible on Monday/Thursday. Reading/Writing on Tuesday/Friday. Encore Day on Wednesdays. I hope you will find this a doable rhythm and student remain "with us" for the duration of the year.
I asked a few staff members at random to read a portion of Scripture for this week's chapel. Thank you. My apologies that the 'ask' came during Spring Break. In an effort to keep our students connected to the whole of Rose Park, I may be asking this of people for the rest of the year. I'll keep the 'ask' somewhat simple as I know you have chock full with preparing learning for your kids. Thank you for being willing.
I love 'bopping' into your learning assignments each morning and giving feedback when I am able. There are SO MANY excellent techniques and tech tips I see people exploring with. Today, ALL Rose Park and Forest School staff are invited for read a few Bible verses for our next chapel video. We're going to take a crack at this on Zoom all together at 2:30. We'll listen to the verse once for pacing then read the portion twice hoping for a somewhat smooth read-through once. For the especially observant students who tune in to chapel next week, they might notice a special guest in one of the little frames:
