Sunny Days!

The sunshine has truly just been GLORIOUS this week! Clearly we've been enjoying a full moon as well. 😝

We probably shouldn't bust out the shorts quite yet but I did spot some snowdrops on a run this week!!!

Spring Program

Here are the developing bones of our spring program. It's slowly taking shape! Is it possible for each grade level to select their classroom speakers by Friday, February 17 on this doc? Please let me know if you have any questions!

Planting Season in the Beds

The survey is in, and those of you requesting raised garden beds all get a whole bed for your class.  Please check out the link to find which bed you've been assigned. The garden beds have been numbered in permanent marker.  Odd numbers are on the left (west side of the greenhouse).  Even numbers are on the right.  You can get started planting as soon as you please, and seeds are in the office!

Happy Planting!

Table Construction

Parent team is considering the fund request for lumber so we can get the tables built. More details as they are available!

Dinner Time

If you'd like to block time to eat together during parent/teacher conferences, there will be a dinner spread for you on Monday, March  20 from 6:00-7:00. Please block as much as you're able to eat together and hopefully laugh a little!

Playscape Dreaming

When you have free moments to peruse a bit, feel free to dream a bit about a playscape a.k.a. play haven for Rose Park! This is step one in the project from our end. Let's take a week to just think, peruse online a bit and dream! Here are some provided for us from the ODC team. Next week we'll have more materials to start to put shape to our thinking! I am so grateful for how entrusted we are, as a Rose Park team, with all of these opportunities to bring innovation, play and the outdoors to the lives of our kids! Thank you for boldly going where few educators have gone before!

Tulip Time

1st through 4th grade teachers, would you please make a copy of this form (thank you, Sheila, for fixing the clunky link last week) for your class and send to your parents for their costume preference in this Tulip Time parade? They received the explanation in the school blog so this should be something they are expecting to see. Please let me know if you have questions! Thank you!
