Back to Business

One Final Team Member! Welcome, Flor Sanchez!

Our second/third grade multi-age class added one more student. This class size pushed past our class size norms. Due to this we were approved for the hiring of another aide in the class. Meet the final member of our amazing team caring for 2nd and 3rd grade students! When she's not in Andrea's classroom supporting students, Flor will serve as an aide for our Ian Espendez in Jodi's third grade class. Welcome, Flor! We're so grateful you've joined our Rose Park family!

Floriselba Sanchez-Lasaballett

Hello! My name is Flor Sanchez. I am a certified teacher with an endorsement in in Special Education specializing in learning difficulties for children. I taught for 19 years in my home country, Venezuela, where I worked in different areas from kindergarten to high school. I have also had opportunities to implement music as a wonderful strategy to enrich the learning process.

My native language is Spanish and English is my second, which I enjoy learning every day. I had the great blessing of knowing Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was a child. Since my youth I have served in various ministries and churches in my country. My service to God continued for 26 more years alongside my husband (†)  who was a Pastor and Leader in the Christian community of our city. We have 3 beautiful daughters ages 24, 21 and 18, with whom I moved to Holland almost two years ago.

I am grateful for the job opportunity at Rose Park this year. Belonging to the HCS family is an answer to my prayers. I am blessed and very excited to join this special team and join in the mission of forming children who know God in a personal way. I'm eager to meet you soon!

Popsicles on the Playground

Thank you, friends, for taking your own personal time to invite families to get to know each other in an informal and fun-filled setting. I have had families reach out to me to express how welcoming this effort has made them feel. This is a new venture for us and for them! Our newest families are gifted with a chance to spend time with you prior to the first day and they have the opportunity to meet each other with their family member close at hand! THANK YOU! I appreciate your willingness to give up your time and welcome each new family to the classroom community you will create. This is such a unique and warm offering. I appreciate your work and dedication to serving families with our best while balancing your own personal time in the summer as well.
