Staff Meeting
Our next staff meeting will take place from 3:30-4:30 on October 7 in the Rose Park media center. While we wait for our friends to come from the Forest, let's put a few books back on the shelves! The agenda can be found here. You'll notice a "sign in/sign out" box because this meeting will count toward our DPPD hours! WooHoo!
Grandparents Day
October 8. We would like to celebrate this important relationship but do it COVID-friendly style. Have you had a chance to think this through? How can I help? Your students and parents will be informed in the October 1 blog that Grandparents Day will go virtual this year on October 8. Will you please communicate the necessary details with your parents through your blog? Please keep me in the loop with any help you need!
Enrollment Dates
How about that! We're already thinking about enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year! I, like you, am in prayer that the COVID era would move into the pages of our history books and robust LIFE and CHILDREN will return to our hallways and classrooms! More details will be forthcoming but we're asking for two 'save the dates' for preparing for next year. An hour in the evening on November 17 and one more hour in the evening on January 12. Two dates is a stretch. I acknowledge that. I'm hoping we'll consider it a trade for no programs, skating parties....the typical evening events have gone by the wayside. Perhaps we'll be able to welcome even more families if we are able to hold two dates. We'll also need to control the crowd size so one night simply won't accommodate the traditional number of families interested in school here at Rose Park. So, please mark your calendar for November 17 and January 12. More details forthcoming!
