If a big poster board comes to your classroom, would you please have your students sign their first name anywhere on the board? This will be turned into a Happy 90th Birthday Card for Elsa Prince who is a huge support for our Forest as well as for Holland Christian Schools.
Christmas Lunch
Parent team is blessing you wonderful, hard-working staff with a lunch in the media center from 11:15-12:15 on Wednesday, December 14! Thank you for coming to laugh together and enjoy their gift!
Christmas Tea from the Board
After school on Wednesday, December 13 we will be treated to a spot of tea and singing! Come to main street when you're able to receive that gift of appreciation!
After Break Dates
Here are a few important dates to keep on our radar after Christmas break. Please note that NWEA Winter testing is OPTIONAL but gives us a good sense of each student's progress.
Swim Lessons
The pool has arranged our lessons and given us the schedule. They changed the dates due to transportation. Our first grade through fourth grade swim lessons will be 1/30-2/10. We will work through recess and lunch logistics as the time nears. Here is the grade level timing in the pool:
1st grade: pick up @ 8:45 and drop off at 10:15
2nd grade: pick up @ 9:45 and drop off at 11:15
3rd grade: pick up @ 10:45 and drop off at 12:15
4th grade: pick up @ 12:20 and drop off at 1:50
