Hootenanny Time!

THANK YOU for saving the life of the color printer!!! It's been used more sparingly over this past week and we haven't had to use the defibrilator on it to keep it pumping! I appreciate your color-printing discretion!

WELL Projector

Would you also be willing to accept another norm to save the life of our WELL projector? We're opening the door to an accident by allowing play with balls in the WELL and a projector is hanging overhead. A $280 sky lift was rented in order to plug cords back in last week and a wayward ball must have hit the projector again and a speaker cord is unplugged. Rats. I've talked with before school care and after school care. They are very willing to run their program ball-free. Would each staff member also be willing to protect our projector by adhering to the ball-free zone in the WELL?

Barn Chores

Thanks for jumping in and caring for little Rosie and Parker! Our Life Skills class from the high school has also asked if they can take on some chores on Mondays and Wednesdays! I said YES! So you might find that your class has extra support caring for our furry friends on those afternoons!

Report Card Norms

Doug Greer is helping us reexamine our reporting tool norms on the report cards at HC. As we think about comments on the report cards, let's use these norms until the full card is evaluated:

Q1: An overall comment that states you look forward to talking through the details of their child's development and celebrations at parent/teacher conferences in a few days.

Q2: Teacher provides comments for children on report cards as there are no conferences at that time.

Q3: Again, an overall comment that states you look forward to talking through the details of their child's development and celebrations at parent/teacher conferences in a few days.

Q4: Teacher provides comments for children on report cards as there are no conferences at that time.

Flipped Friday

This Friday we're flipping! It's our first one! We'll hold Thursday's schedule but K-2 will attend encore classes in the morning! Dismissal is at 11:30.
