There Goes October....

I didn't get a chance to snap any pics of our beautiful morning spent with Grandparents/friends today but THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU for creating a delightful time together in your classroom space. THANK YOU for being on the look out for little ones that needed to be connected to a loving adult. THANK YOU for flexing, supporting and celebrating our families together! The Rose Park family is certainly a most AMAZING community! And, as special as it is, I'm so glad Grandparents Day is all done for the year! ✅🤣

Rose Park Personnel Survey

Would you please take a few moments to reflect on life at Rose Park for our growth and celebration? Due date November 11 please.

Third through Fifth Grade Survey

Would you please find time to have your children reflect on life at Rose Park in this survey? Due date November 11 please.

Personal Day

It's really hard to step away...but...our daughter Kearia is interested in Calvin University so TJ and I are taking her for a day-long visit tomorrow. This personal day has been approved by Rachel Hendershot and Doug and I hope acceptable by you. So...I'll be at Calvin tomorrow. Not here. I'm so sorry for not being present for all of the good things! I know I'm missing a super fun day tomorrow. I look forward to hearing all about it on Monday!

Staff Meeting

We're going to hold our staff meeting at the barn on Wednesday, November 2. Please wear your coat to this one! Then we'll come back inside for treats and warm up!

Hootenanny

We are getting VERY close to our ranch being completed! We'll talk more about our first step toward becoming ranchers at our next staff meeting on November 2. Please pencil into your calendar our ribbon cutting ceremony (and, since it's a barn, it's more appropriately called a Hootenanny!) on November 10 from 2:30-3:00.

HCHS’s Theatre Department is proud to present Matilda for the Fall Musical this year! Based on the book by Roald Dahl, Matilda is the inspiring story of a girl with astonishing wit, intelligence, psychokinetic powers, and an extraordinary imagination who dreams of a better life. You won’t want to miss this incredibly fun musical. Performances are November 17-19 at 7 pm. Due to licensing restrictions we are unable to livestream this Fall’s production, but you can get your in-person tickets at hollandchristian.org/theatre beginning October 17th.

You’re invited to Swingin' the Night Away! November 4, 6:45-9 pm in the HC high school cafeteria. Enjoy swing dance lessons (6:45-7:30), a dance (7:30-9), dessert and the sounds of big band jazz. $5/person at the door. Music provided by the HC Jazz Bands and the Old Timer’s Band.  Bring your children, and your parents- it’s a delightful evening with loads of vintage charm!
