Tulip Time Fun!

Tulip Time! 

• We will do our parade practice at 9:00 on Wednesday morning. 1st-4th + 5th grade helpers meet in the bus loop. Anyone interested in cheering at a pop-up parade, feel free to join us curbside! (due to our half day, there will be no chapel on Wednesday morning). 
• Students will be dismissed at 11:30 on Wednesday and Thursday morning. 
• Parade walkers stay at school Thursday! 
• Lunch is NOT provided from school.
• Emily and Angie's class from the Forest will be walking WITH our kids. This is different than we spoke about on Wednesday. They will NOT be walking separately. 
• Make sure your students have costumes or their Rooted t-shirt on Thursday morning! 
• 11:30 dismissal and recess begins. Miska will monitor the playground. Recess ends at 11:55 for costume dressing and lunch to begin. 12:15 start the potty breaks! 12:25 line up to begin loading busses. 

RP parade supplies will be brought to the parade sight at 12:00

Students DEPART from buildings: (students/staff)

• Rose Park - 12:30 PM - 3 buses (172/16)

Our school district is in the SECOND DIVISION.

Our street line up doc will be sent to you to input your child's name in placement asap!

Non 1st-4th grade teachers!!! We need your help! I'm told the Rose Park tradition is friends help friends get their cars to a convenient location at the parade end for transportation back after the parade! Who among you is willing to meet near Kollen Park before school and drive together back to school for start of day? Let's kick up a sign up on the white board in the staff center!

There will also be HC vehicles located just past the fire station to return banners, supplies, etc. to their respective school buildings. You’ll be required to bring supplies PAST the fire station, per the police department. 

Field Trips or Special Events

If you have a field trip or special event planned for the end of this year, please notify Carla or Laura so we can note this accordingly. It's wonderful but we have people flocking hither and yon. We're just looking to support you with awareness! Thank you!

Convocation 

....ran into scheduling snags so the year end closer will be cancelled this year. We'll rock this important event next year! 

End Of Year Checklist 

June 6 We will have a full day of learning for teaching staff at Rose Park on Monday. Paraprofessionals, teacher assistants and aides are not required. 

June 7 EVERYONE is invited to a year-end celebration at the high school. Breakfast will be served to your heart's desire!
