Rock STARS!

This morning we welcomed our newest members of the Rose Park family! Kindergarten Stars! Some of these kiddos are returning preschoolers and some of them are brand new to us! What a blessing to be gifted by God with a new class of children and families! And look at how are awesome colleagues greeted them!!! Over the TOP!!!! Thank you to each and every one of you for pouring into each special child! They are welcomed, known, loved, prayed over and cherished children of our Father! It was a special morning at Rose Park!

Ordering Details from Carla:

Here are some ordering details for the 2022-23 school year.   As a reminder, we use the estimate of around $15 per student in your all day K-5 classroom.  (In the past it was $10 for misc. supplies, and $5 for literacy items.  We are generalizing and saying $15)

Preschool teachers, your allotment is based on days students are in session.  
$9 per child for 3 -day classes

$7 per child for 2 -day classes

$11 per child for 5 day 4's and JK students.

We are going to change things up a bit.  We will continue to use School Specialty, but also have the option of ordering from Amazon. Do a little research on items you will need.  We can get great pricing on School Specialty items, but sometimes Amazon can beat it.  You pick which works best for you!

Inflatables

In leu of Fun Night, parent team would like to provide an outdoor inflatable for our kids again this year. The day they have selected is May 25. For classes who are not present on that day, please feel free to publicize the invitation to your families and they are welcome to come and jam around on the inflatable fun. Here is our link to use so we're not all there at the same time 😅

Field Day

Will be held on May 31. Details forthcoming! 

Final Chapel 

At 10:45 on the last day of school we will meet on the north side of the building (same spot as last year for those who were present last year). We will celebrate, worship and pray over our departing fifth graders. After chapel we will line the halls again and create a tunnel of applause as they walk through and receive Rose Park love! More details forthcoming, but please pencil in our final chapel from 10:45-11:15 on Friday, June 3. 

End Of Year Checklist 

June 6 We will have a full day of learning for teaching staff at Rose Park on Monday. Paraprofessionals, teacher assistants and aides are not required. 

June 7 EVERYONE is invited to a year-end celebration at the high school. Breakfast will be served to your heart's desire! 

For Your Blog Please

Plant Sale!  On Wednesday morning, May 25, the 4th graders (in conjunction with the HCHS life skills students), will be hosting a plant sale at Rose Park.  Please plan to purchase your tomato, pepper, and herb plants there!  The sale will begin at 7:30 and go through mid- to late morning.  All plants are $3 each (cash only please!).  Proceeds will be donated to HCS Unified Sports Teams.  Spread the word!
