Comfort Ye My People

Coco will return on Monday, friends. Jodi and her children are ready to welcome her warmly and gently. Hudson and Mason have been experiencing ups and downs this week. Suffering is one of the most difficult conditions for humans. We have loving parents whose instinct would be to keep their children close by their side at this time of suffering. But they can't. And, because of you, they have peace about transferring their suffering children to our arms and hands.

If you have a relationship already with Coco, Hudson or Mason, you can give them a warm hug and let them know you are in prayer for them and for their family. We can be the promised rod and staff in the valley by offering 'normalcy' and grace and love. We can be the tangible evidence that God is close to the brokenhearted by pointing out the beauty of God love and mercy in the hardest points in our lives.

Friends, you have been called to this place to be God's light in places of darkness, to be shalom to places of chaos, to be hope in times of despair. May God to before you, beside you and surround you as we navigate this important week ahead.

Lunch with Doug

Tuesday Doug will lead us in selecting our professional goals in iObserve. This is a new platform for us and we're traversing into this one step at a time. I am too ;) Teaching faculty who are present on Tuesday, please bring your computer to the media center during your lunch break. Doug and I will help you select your goals!

Vaccine Questions

Children will likely hear of some students getting the vaccine. Because you've been entrusted to partner with our families intricately, your children TRUST and RESPECT you! They will naturally ask you questions about this vaccine. Families vary in their own health history and perspective on this vaccine. I just want to remind you that there are topics we lean on the triangle (church, home, school) as depicted in our logo:

If children ask you for your perspective on the pediatric vaccine, please remind them that this is a good question for them to ask their parents. There is SUCH beauty in each family being able to freely make decisions for the health plan for their family! Let's not interfere with that by sharing our own varied perspective. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns around this. Thank you!
