 Good Afternoon All,

Welcome to another phase in our onboarding to an exciting year at Rose Park. I am excited about the possibilities that we have to expand and explore the way we serve our families, here, on a daily basis. Yes, there are many unknowns, requirements that we did not ask for or even expect, problems to solve, and questions to answer that may not have answers at the time of the questions, together we will have fun, stay safe, and deliver the best education for those we love--our students. 

Carla, Laura, and I will help whenever possible so ask. Communication is always important, but this year even more important. Let us know if you have ideas, thoughts, and or questions!

• Let's begin by sending out a Welcome to School letter or card to each of your students on Tuesday, August 11. Laura and Carla have labels, postage, and a serving attitude to help. 

• Second, Thursday, August 13, please send out an invite to your parents sign up for a school visit on August 20 using Sign Up Genius. The parents will be looking for this information since we sent out a general communication earlier. We can host four families together at one time for 15 minutes slots. I will put together a map with designated areas (in the front of the school) where you can meet parents and students to welcome them into school the night of that visit. This location will also be the area where we will meet students the first day or week (however long we need).

• Third, August 18, please create and send out a Welcome/Parent Night video. This was explained, in a newsletter to the parents, as follows:  Teachers are working to create an official welcome video providing you with helpful information for the school year from their classroom perspective.  

• You will note a qr code on our front door. This code is our screening/tracking tool for adults who access the building. When you swipe your key card, please take a brief moment to scan the code and respond to the prompted health screener.

• Lastly, I would like to invite (optional) you to a staff zoom meeting this coming Monday, August 10, at 12:30
